one small thing that i love

One of the best things about living in Mt Laurel as a cyclist is that there is good road riding and mountain biking right out of my door.  I was reminded of that on Sunday as I ducked out for a spur-of-the-moment mountain bike ride.  I didn’t have much time, so I just headed to the Dunnavant Valley Greenway Trail, then up to the ridge and down to the first power line crossing and back.  All told maybe around 16 miles…..not much, but just what I needed to recharge my batteries.

It’s obvious that the trails and dirt roads have not been ridden much lately (which should be no surprise considering there is only a few of us that use these trails), as the amount of leaves on the surface made even the most minor of hills often unrideable due to lack of traction.  But all was good, and the unseasonably warm temps combined with the changing tree colors made for a great 90 minutes.
