foggy morning ride

With Skyway Epic coming up in less than two weeks, and my training being almost nonexistent this Spring, I’ve been getting up before 5:30am several days a week for the past two weeks to get in some time on one of my bikes.  This morning I hoppped on the Crux to try to get a quick climbing workout.  I headed down 41 and up Double Oak Way.  My original plan was to do some hill repeats along the ridgetop of Double Oak Way, basically from just above the gate to the cell tower and back.  Unfortunately, it was so foggy that it was hard to see where I was going when I was climbing, much less descending at 30+ mph.  So I had to head back to Hwy 41 and then do a quick loop around Regents Park and Village at Highland Lakes.

Quick pics below.  It was much foggier to the naked eye than the photos depict.
